Interview questions and the best answers
We all have been there, wishing that we could know what the hiring manager will ask us in the interview and which are the best answers. Unfortunately, we are unable to read minds and we can only prepare for the best. Thus, this is exactly what we will be helping you with by providing you with some basic interview advice.
Winning an interview compiles of three things:
● Knowing the most common questions that are asked during an interview and understanding why they are being asked.
● Craft a sensible, professional and good answer to each query
● Practice it as many times as you can
Once you are able to follow these three most important elements, your job interviews will be a winner for you.
Most asked interview questions and the best answers:
We won’t recommend you to thoroughly learn answers for interview questions as canned responses are judged instantly. However, it is always best to prepare enough, to be comfortable with whatever question is asked. Take this interview advice and make sure that if your resume has won the game, your interview must be wonderful too.
1. Define yourself or tell me a little about yourself?
This sounds like a simple question but is the most complicated one. Majority of us fail to define ourselves. But here are some quick tips that can help you. Defining yourself does not have to include your entire work experience history. Make it precise and compelling. It can be a 2 line answer which makes you seem like the best fit for the job. Use this question wisely as it can really make the deal for you.
2. How did you hear about our company’s position?
Yet again, this might sound like just a random question but if you answer it properly, it can reflect your passion towards the company. If you discovered the job position through a friend, then let them know and express your excitement about it. If you found out about the job through a job board, then tell them about it. Make sure that you express it right.

3. What do you know about us?
Before you head out to the interview, make sure that you know something about the company. Don’t learn the “about us” page of the company by heart. Anyone can do that and the hiring manager will catch you within a second. Explore their website and social media platforms and then use some professional keywords which can help you bag the job. Phrases like “I believe in this approach that you have because…” Make the connection strong and not just random.
4. Why do you want to get this job?
Yes you are desperate to get this job but you don't have to sound or look so. Be passionate and express your passion through words; not your body language. State some of your skills or traits that make you a good fit for the job and then reinforce the fact that you love the company and why you want to be a part of it.
5. Why, in your opinion, should we hire you?
This question is quite intimidating because the hiring manager is directly asking you about what is so special in you that the other 50 candidates don’t have! And you consider yourself as an ordinary human. But right at this moment, this question needs to be answered extraordinary. You need to craft this answer carefully, focusing on 3 things:
● You have the ability to deliver outstanding results and not just work.
● You are a great fit for the team working culture
● You are a better candidate than the others
Elaborate these 3 elements to carve an answer that suits your job position and makes you look like a smart catch.
Conclusion:
Obviously, there are a lot of other questions that the recruiter will ask you but these are the basic queries! With this interview advice in your pocket, you can easily bag the job that you want. Just be confident and don’t let the recruiter confuse you.
