Introducing Festa, "party" in Italian

I present to you our new adventure…..Festa Foods!

In its simplest form, Festa is a consumer brand manufacturing pinsa romana, a flatbread that’s become wildly popular in Italy. It’s most often used as a pizza base, one made with a three-flour blend and fermented for multiple days, giving it great flavor and a uniquely airy inside and crunchy outside. It’s the most gut-friendly pizza crust out there.

It’s a lot easier to build a great future replicating a great past than to try to invent it new, so Festa Foods has a lot in common with my Creminelli journey:

Italian inspired food. I mean, I was already involved in salami and gelato. It was only a matter of time until I was in pizza, too.

Building a consumer food brand. There’s an intimacy engaging people on the topic of food that I never tire of.

Working with people I love. Once again, Cristiano is the one who led me to this product, and he will again be a co-founder – there’s not a better one. All the brand brainpower from Creminelli is back and bolder, including former Creminelli CMO, now Festa co-founder and President, Eric Schwartz-Johnson .

What we’re hoping to accomplish for the American consumer is introduce a new at-home meal option that’s intensely enjoyable, incredibly convenient, and angelically clean. It's the pizza version of taco night.

The first step was introducing it to foodservice operators, always in search of easy-prep gourmet options. This year we’ve seen that business multiply. Now, we’re starting our brand journey.
