Introducing guests of the upcoming episodes

Carbohydrate Chronicles is a podcast about Glycoscience and glycoscientists.

In this show, via a series of interviews we explore the world of carbohydrate science and innovation from the personal point of view. Conversations of the 1st season are hosted by Tamas Sohajda.

This podcast is supported by CarboHyde where we find it important and essential not only to get familiar with the research, but the researcher itself. In our series, we invite key opinion leaders of the glycoscience field both from academia and industry, working on various angles of carbohydrates. Every week we will publish a new episode, all recordings will be available online at Apple podcast, Spotify and Google podcast as well as at CarboHyde’s website.

In the 2nd part of our first season, you can enjoy fascinating discussions with the following key figures of carbohydrate science:

Erem Bilensoy - Professor at Hacettepe University - Expert in pharmaceutical technology, nanotechnology and drug delivery

Elham BLOUET - ABDELHAC - Head of Biopharma and global market manager at Roquette - Expert in cyclodextrin and carbohydrate excipient market and upcoming applications

Matthew "Oki" O'Connor - Co-CEO and founder of Cyclarity Therapeutics - Expert in biology of aging and translational research

Barbara Richichi - Associate Professor of Chemistry at University of Florence - Expert in Carbon and Glycan- based Nanostructured materials

László Somsák - Professor of Organic Chemistry at University of Debrecen - Expert in the synthesis of glycomimetics and biologically active carbohydrates

Parastoo Azadi - Technical Director at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (University of Georgia) - Expert of structural characterization of glycoproteins and glycolipids

Nicholas Bodor - Professor Emeritus at University of Florida - Expert in medicinal chemistry and design of new chemical delivery systems

Rauter Amélia Pilar - Professor at University of Lisbon - one of the first pioneers of modern carbohydrate chemistry

Stay tuned for information about the next episodes that will be available shortly. We hope you will love these conversations as much as we enjoyed talking with these amazing people.
