About IPEC Certification Bureau. Are You Certified?

Hello. I hope everyone is doing well during this MCO period. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the world socially and economically. Nevertheless, we need to ensure continuous productivity especially when we are working from home. These are challenging times and we need to stay focus and united to brave through the situation.

In this article, I would like to share about who we are and what we do as a Certification Bureau.

IPEC stands for International PErsons Certification with the registered name IPEC Bureau Sdn Bhd. We are a Malaysian company focusing on extensive ranges of industry human capital and professional development in line with the framework of ISO/IEC 17024 Certification of Persons. IPEC's involvement in the project of International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) plays a vital role in the Asia-Pacific economic activities to achieve sustainable development goals as the key element of regional quality policies.

IPEC Bureau is strongly supported by the Government of Malaysia on the purview of Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and our ISO/IEC 17024 certification is accredited by the Department of Standards Malaysia (www.jsm.gov.my), who is also the member of the International Organisation Standardisation (ISO), the International Electro-technical Commission (IEC), International Accreditation Forum (IAF), and International Laboratory Cooperation (ILAC).

IPEC’s ISO/IEC 17024 certification is a globally accepted benchmark for human resources enhancement, upskilling and reskilling that focuses on examining the competence of persons. Our Research and Technology Development Division introduces a unique methodology for Industry Scheme Committee to develop industry defined competency standards that are examinable and measurable.

We are actively engaged in Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC)'s premier forum for facilitating economic growth, cooperation, trade and human capital investment in the Asia-Pacific region. This certification platform is strongly recognised by governmental bodies and their respective industries in key countries throughout Asia Pacific continental, demonstrating international recognition.

IPEC Bureau is also working closely with the public and private sectors towards the development of new certification schemes and academic discipline studies through the ISO/IEC 17024 framework. We facilitate and undertake research and development for the industry practicing standards and monitoring human capital development such as industry professionals, advanced specialists, experts, entrepreneurs, fellows and skill force.
