How to Build the Smart Offices of the Future

Smart Offices are considered high-tech Data-Driven Workplaces in which analytics, technology, and a human touch help to improve the office environment. By combining software and hardware, technology meets interactions.

With the help of Analytics a better understanding of employee behavior is established, pointing out how the environment stimulates better work processes. When optimizing work processes, you can save costs and make more efficient use of available floor space. This creates possibilities to make the office more sustainable and reach sustainable goals.

Here’s how you can leverage advanced solutions to design the smart office of tomorrow:

📌 Real-Time Asset Tracking

Smart offices provide that every tool and piece of equipment is accounted for. Using BLE beacons and Wi-Fi, assets or equipment are monitored in real-time.

📌 Visitor Flow & Meeting Room Optimization

Visitor flow analytics track occupancy levels across the office, even for those not connected to Wi-Fi. This data supports better space planning.

📌 Space Utilization Insights

Heat maps and occupancy analytics go a step further, identifying underutilized areas. This helps organizations allocate resources more effectively.

📌 Geo-Fencing for Enhanced Security

Geo-fencing technology sets up virtual boundaries, triggering alerts when sensitive zones are entered. This provides valuable data to improve overall security and communication.

📌 Interactive Navigation

AI-powered maps and Blue Dot technology create an app-free, interactive navigation system that’s highly accurate. Visitors and employees can easily locate rooms, and mark important areas.
