Israel Take 2
As the sun sets this evening in Israel, ushering in Shabbat, I reflect on the week that was. I met a number of amazing tech companies and forward thinking investors, whether in AI, FoodTech, and FinTech. I note that it was reported that tech investments in Canada for Q3 2017 was $858 million while for Israel, with a much smaller population, was US $1.44 billion for the same period. Need I say more? Canada can learn from Israel in encouraging entrepreneurs and by making them part of the economic culture of a country. We need to celebrate our successes and not stigmatize those who have dared to create and may have failed. Shabbat Shalom.

7yGreat post. Certainly, encouragement will always reap more rewards than criticism. I am reminded of the Theodore Roosevelt "Man in the Arena" speech; "It's not the critic who counts..." I'm off to dare greatly :)
