It's 1947. Three Actors form a group that changes theatre and film forever ..

In 1947, three actors (Elia Kazan, Cheryl Crawford, and Robert Lewis) founded the Actors Studio. It began as a place where theatre artists could gather to explore and deepen the craft of acting in a safe and private space. They longed to express the truth onstage in the moment. To hold a mirror up to life that would touch audiences' hearts.

The Studio forever changed the art of acting worldwide.

Todays generations of actors continue to gather in that safe and private space to work on their craft together.

I’ve been an actor since the age of seven. In my late twenties and early thirties, I studied in a similarly safe and private space: The Seydways Acting Studio in San Francisco.

My experience in that space forever changed my acting, my leadership, and my life. It was the catalyst that unleashed my creativity, my talent, and my voice.

I believe that visionaries who speak both need and deserve that kind of supportive, sacred space.

We need that safe space in order to remove our protective masks, unleash our inner radiance, and do our part to change the world with authenticity, creativity, and courage.

Over the years, clients asked me again and again where they could go to practice speaking authentically. I looked around for that kind of sacred space for visionaries and found it didn’t exist …

So I built it.
