It’s Been Wild & It’s About to Get Wilder!
It’s that time of year again – the season of conferences, networking, and being seen. Twice a year, I attend some of the most important events in my world: marketing and gaming expos, including the ever-epic gamescom. It’s a period that demands laser-sharp focus because, let’s face it, I can’t be everywhere at once (yet!), and I’m not ready to hand over everything to AI.
Balancing two businesses – my own Jasmin Deniz Karatas focusing on Gamification, Serious Game concepts, workshops for SMEs and startups, and the joint venture RAW-R , which blends business, gamification, and spirituality – I’ve come to realize something: as different as my target audiences may seem, they all share one common trait. Whether they are entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, or creatives, they’re all NERDS, GEEKS, and GAMERS at heart, and they get the value of gamification and playful business strategies.
I’m incredibly proud to have worked with amazing clients like ARD/ SWR, who made their debut at gamescom this year with a game I helped bring to life. Being part of such an iconic event and seeing the project on the gamescom floor was an absolute highlight!
Next week, I’ll be leading a workshop for a fascinating association in Germany, and I’m thrilled to have written a whitepaper on Gamification and Journalism, which will be distributed within a major institution. I can’t wait to see how it will inspire people to rethink the way they approach their work.
On top of that, I’ve been deeply involved in a major project with a key Swiss client, where we’re diving into gaming, gamification, and branding. It’s been a wild ride, but things are definitely coming together in the best way possible!
I’m beyond grateful to work with visionary people who trust me and truly understand the innovative and transformative power of games and gamification. It's inspiring to collaborate with those who see the potential to create real change through play.
Not only am I juggling two businesses, but I’m also leading masterminds, mentoring, podcasting, streaming, translating my first book while planning the second and third – and yes, somewhere in there, I manage to have a personal life too!
Recently, a lot has shifted for me, and I’ve had to make some tough decisions and set clear priorities:
And one thing has become crystal clear to me: you want more from me – more content, more knowledge, more opportunities to work together. So, here it is – I’m giving you more! Or at least I am working on it. (I can't promise that I will do everything in two languages, but I try at least to make some content available, like this newsletter in English.)
My mission is to transform the business world through play, and I’m fully committed to making that happen. But let’s be real – it’s only possible with people like you!
To make real change, I need people who are ready to move the needle. People who go back to their companies, secure the budget, and take the leap to try something new. Play changes us. If you don’t believe me, just watch children when they’re immersed in play or think about the last game you played. And if you’re still unsure, dive into the studies that show how play rewires our brains for the better.

3mojemand, der an deiner Seite steht, macht halt wirklich einen verdammt krassen Unterschied! Und es bricht halt auch diesen Glauben, dass man alles alleine machen und können muss - und das ist schön. Bin so dankbar für dich ❤️
