It’s Good to Be Home! ALIV and Western Air Bring Bahamian Students Home for the Holidays
We are proud to partner with Western Air to bring Bahamian students studying abroad back home for the holidays, reconnecting them with family, friends and loved ones.
College students living in Florida were invited to participate in our “It’s Good to Be Home” contest by creating imaginative videos, showcasing why it’s good to be home for the holidays. As part of our It’s Good to Be ALIV campaign, this initiative highlights and celebrated the deep connections within our culture-from family and food to uniquely Bahamian holiday traditions–shining a spotlight on Bahamian pride for the world to see.
Three lucky students were all smiles as they exited the airport and were welcomed by ALIV staff and complimentary transportation. Sasha Wells, Nicholas Strachan and A’nya Edwards-Toote were selected for their heartfelt videos, each receiving complimentary roundtrip tickets, local transportation, an ALIV eSim with an unlimited plan and Junkanoo tickets.
