B Corps don’t tend to struggle so much in attracting and retaining a great team, with an attrition rate 10% lower than the national average.
This is because they value the wellbeing of their people, not just their productivity. And through purpose driven business, allow their team to contribute positively to climate and social issues.
I know I like working for UK for Good because I’m encouraged to try new things and supported in developing my skills; an experience I know I may not have had in a larger business.
To me, working in a team who are together committed to creating a better future is the most important thing in choosing a job.

2yA great newsletter from Poppy Fitzpatrick, well done 👏 Every day I listen to the concerns of business leaders about their people and the planet. "How do I attract good people....and keep them?" and, "we know we have to do more about our environmental impact, but don't know where to start." We get it. It's hard, and it really matters. When you see that 83% of people who are your employees, and potential employees, want to work for companies who care about their people....it's time to adapt. Because if we don't adapt to the rapidly changing world we live in....the future looks grim. The time for change for good is now. Because if not us then who, and if not now then when?
