It's My Quarter Year Birthday

So I’ve survived my first quarter, which is great. Again, there are so many people I need to thank for their support but you know who you are! Thank you.

It’s been great to help teams like Manchester’s very own Silo Black Games who are supremely talented, and have a great game to pitch to publishers. As ever, I am in awe of their development, production and creative talent, but know that I can add the commercial layer to give their pitch a powerful punch.

I’ve also been able to announce that I’ll be presenting alongside the wonderful Jon Torrens at Develop Conference in Brighton this year. The session will be about pitching and I am very excited to be doing it alongside Jon as he is an amazing public speaker - hopefully people will get our names mixed up and I’ll get the glory from his bit of the talk. 

It is still scary when, at the end of the month, my bank account doesn’t automatically refill any more. But, it seems to be going well so far, I am really enjoying it and meeting lots of new people working locally, nationally and internationally in the wonderful business we call games.
