The goal of the renovation of the parental home was on one hand to unify several generations under one roof but on the other hand still retaining some of the character of the original building. With their new multifamily home family Jaussi unifies four apartments under one roof. The perforated façade elements in Cellon give the wooden house an urban and individual character. The perforation pattern also allows to sometimes have snow or ice on it but then in summer very clear contours. Also, depending on the insolation, the perforation draws a different picture on the balconies.
