Jesus Provides My Needs

Jesus Provides My Needs

Dear Lord the guardian of my heart, the keeper of my soul, the master of my universe right here on earth. He supplies water when I thirst. Jesus is the light of my life even in the midst of darkness. He sustains me with the food I need to maintain the life I lead. Jesus is the air I breathe, he is the best part of me.

Water ... "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." - John 4:14

Light ... "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." - John 8:12

Food ... "Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things." - Genesis 9:3

Air ... "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." - Genesis 2:7

Jesus is the source for all living things. How long can you live without Food and Water? You cannot live without the Air we breathe? Sight unseen our mere existence depends on Jesus.

Jesus is my comforter when I am lonely or sad. He is my guiding light even on a dark gloomy day. He is my best friend when I need someone to talk to if ever alone and afraid. Jesus is the reason I can get up every morning even knowing life can be a struggle. When I put my trust and faith in Jesus I know he'll make a way.

Who is Jesus? He is the provider of all my needs. Jesus is the Sacrificial Lamb. Who else would do that for you?

"Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:" - Proverbs 30:8
