JetBlue bets on Boston for summer 2025


  • Two new intercontinental routes from Boston. 
  • Edinburgh and Madrid will get new jetBlue flights.
  • For the first time, Spain will enter the airline’s regular schedule.


JetBlue (B6/JBU) continues to expand its intercontinental network, with a new route to Edinburgh, a destination already served by the carrier with seasonal services, and its arrival in Spain. Operations will commence on May 22nd, 2025 and will be performed during summer 2025, though the routes may be maintained year-round.

The airline will reach seven scheduled destinations from Boston Logan International Airport to Europe, five of which are seasonal. In addition to Edinburgh and Madrid, Amsterdam, Dublin and London Gatwick are the other three seasonal services, to start between March and May 2025, while London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle are offered throughout the year.

According to its website, jetBlue operates its flights to Europe with Airbus A321 Long Range aircraft configured for 138 passengers in two classes. 114 seats are in Economy Class, which includes 24 Even More® Space seats, and 24 seats in Business (22 Mint suites and 2 Mint Studio suites, with more space).
