How to deal with an ageing population on the job market? 📌

Do you know the median age of the European population will reach 48.2 years by 2050 (vs 43.7 in 2019)? Over the past few decades, there has been a notable demographic transformation worldwide, marked by a growing proportion of elderly individuals in the population.

It is essential for employers to comprehend the dynamics of this aging population and its impact on the workforce in order to effectively navigate and adjust to the evolving landscape.

We have defined 7 strategies for ensuring recruitment despite an aging population and a shrinking talent pool.

➡️ Discover those 7 strategies here.

Insights into how leaders choose their jobs today 💡

Yes, the population is aging. At the same time, very different generations are working side by side, generating new expectations and dynamics in the workplace. As we strive to address this challenge, it becomes evident that today's leaders’ behaviors and needs have also evolved significantly.

Modern leaders are increasingly mobile, more and more present on the active job market, as well as  seeking clear vision and purpose in their roles. They are drawn to dynamic teams, inspiring managers, and workplace cultures that foster growth and diversity. Discover our key insights here.

It is on this basis that we have developed our approach to Executive Search, which has already proved its worth.

✅ Hear from our clients:

"As it was a high-level recruitment in Communication, we thought it would be best to get the assistance from an outside agency. Emma has been our point of contact for many years. She knows us very well, she took the time several times to visit us in our offices, to take the pulse of the organisation, get a feeling of our corporate culture, understand what was important for us regarding the soft skills of the candidates. We know that when we receive the CV of a candidate, the person has been screened, interviewed in great details and that references have been taken.” - Marielle Combe, Director of Operations at CCRE-CEMR

✅ Hear from our candidates:

I had the privilege to collaborate with Profile Group on a couple of occasions as a candidate. My experience was extremely positive and pleasant working with Emma Waites, who’s a tough, well versed, deep and spot on headhunter. She has the ability to make the candidate articulate their own skills and think thoroughly of how their past experience is relevant to the future job. While she never shies away from asking complicated questions, she is very caring, positive, empathetic, and never misses a detail. During the process I truly learnt a lot about myself, and got my dream job.” - Lina Aburous, Head of Communications at CCRE-CEMR
