Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) Fife Project Engineering Office is currently seeking two skilled Field Engineers to lead construction teams, and one Design Engineer to lead design teams! They will apply engineering principles and procedures to solve complex transportation problems, while functioning in an independent capacity to identify critical issues, monitor construction progress, identify changes, evaluate work for conformance with contract requirements, and monitor performance of the project’s quality program. These Transportation Engineer 3s provide leadership, assign tasks to engineers and technicians, provide performance feedback, and hold them accountable for delivering acceptable results. They also act as a representative of WSDOT with local agencies, contractors, consultants, and the public.
