Job Opportunity: Traffic Design Engineer in Spokane, WA!

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an engineering professional with a proven background in traffic design and a strong focus on safety. In this design and project management role, you will lead, direct, and manage the Eastern Region Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Signal, Illumination, Signing, and more complex Minor Operational Enhancement projects. You will also be involved with scoping the region's major electrical and ITS preservation/improvement P3 and Q3 Programs and supports the region's Transportation Systems Management & Operations (TSMO) and Traffic Operations functions. This position supports the Department's mission by focusing on the goals of Strategic Investment, Modal Integration, Organizational Strength, and Smart Technology in relationship to efficient highway operations and improved safety.
