Job Seekers Should Ask What Success Looks Like 🔴 Live Office Hours with Andrew LaCivita

LOH day. Yeah.

Today, at my 7-year-running weekly Thursday show, I’m covering one of my all-time favorite questions to ask an employer in a job interview…

“What does success look like—exactly?”

If you don’t know what success looks like, how will you know what goals to shoot for?

How would you know whether you’re working toward the right results?

How would you—or THEY—know how to “grade” your performance?

It absolutely amazes me any organization can function, let alone survive, without knowing the answer to this question for every single person it employs.

BUT (you knew this was coming), you and I know this happens frequently.

Which is why “THE success question” is this week’s teaching topic.

Join me today at 11 AM CST as we take a deep dive into this question, how to ask it, and what to do when the interviewer doesn’t know the answer!

Oddly enough, this question stumps interviewers even today - we can research a company and get an idea of what their forecast for success might be, but we'd like to know how our role would directly contribute to the mission.
