We are delighted to announce that Let's Get Inclusive will have its own Mentor Program. Our mission is to be the go-to community for people who are looking to share their knowledge, industry insight & skills with under-represented groups in the STEM Sectors to help diversify the workforce.

The impact of a successful mentor-mentee relationship cannot be understated...

• 63% of women have never had a mentor.
• Mentees are promoted 5 x more often than people without a mentor.
• Mentoring boosts minority representation at the management level from 9% to 24%.

Our Mentoring Process

As a mentor, you'll work with people offering advice about everything from interview techniques, coding, industry insights & guidance in navigating a career in technology. Wherever you feel you are able to add the most value to a specific demographic, you'll be able to nurture this relationship.

PROCESS:

1. Introduction with Let's Get Inclusive (LGI) community fellow to establish goals/fit.
2. Personality survey (for mentee alignment) & short video introduction recording.
3. Get matched with Mentee.
4. 1-2 sessions per month over a 3-6 month period.
5. Aftercare check-ins with your LGI community fellow.

Whom Will You Mentor

Our mentee community is comprised of individuals from a multitude of backgrounds. You'd be paired with a mentee from one of the following communities...

• Gender Diverse Community.
• Neurodiverse Community.
• BAME Community.
• LGBTQ+ Community.
