Join us in celebrating Recycle Week’s 20th Anniversary this year!

Recycle Week is coming up, and this year, it’s bigger, more inspiring, and more important than ever. From October 16th to October 22nd, join us in celebrating the 20th anniversary of this fantastic initiative.

This year’s theme, “The Big Recycling Hunt” focuses on “missed capture” - those everyday items that can be recycled but are often overlooked in our homes. The aim is to inspire children, families, and entire communities to get involved, raising awareness about the importance of recycling and the positive impact it has on our planet.

At TAMS Packaging, we’re deeply committed to sustainability, and Recycle Week provides the perfect opportunity for all of us to do our part. You can get involved by sharing this campaign on your social media channels and, most importantly, by recycling more of the right things, more often!

In light of Recycle Week, we thought it would be fitting to delve into the world of recycling symbols, starting with the Mobius Loop, commonly referred to as The Recycling Logo. This powerful symbol signifies that an object is capable of being recycled. However, it's important to note that it doesn't guarantee that the object has been recycled or that it will be accepted in all recycling collection systems.

The Mobius Loop Logo is a call to action, an invitation to be a part of a sustainable solution. When you see this logo, it's a reminder that the journey towards recycling and sustainability begins with you. Sometimes, you might notice a percentage figure within the loop, indicating the amount of recycled material used in the packaging. By choosing packaging with higher percentages, you're championing the use of recycled materials and reducing the demand for new resources.

We believe in packaging that not only protects products but also cares for the environment and our recent case study reflects our commitment to a greener future.

We worked with Maxol's One Shot Screenwash to create smart counter display units that double up as transit cartons. What sets these units apart is their versatility. The top of the box is perforated, allowing it to be easily torn back and folded to create a header display panel. It's like a packaging transformation, where functionality meets marketing brilliance. Now, Maxol's products can be showcased prominently, catching the eyes of customers and driving sales. Most importantly, these display units are printed on 100% recyclable E-flute board, a material known for its strength and eco-friendliness.
