A Journey into the Unknown

A Journey into the Unknown

Welcome to the first edition of our Neuroplasticity newsletter, a space where knowledge, experience, and perhaps a little bit of provocation come together to spark conversation and curiosity. As we continue to explore what we know—and don’t know—about the brain, we are beginning to realize that the terms neurotypical and neurodivergent are merely the surface of a much deeper, largely unexplored field.

As studies predict that 45% of the workforce will be neurodiverse in the next decade, we are standing on the edge of what could be an evolution, a transformation, or perhaps even a disruption to how we understand human behavior and cognition. This raises many questions: What does it mean to be neurodiverse? Are we evolving in our understanding, or are we simply uncovering what has always been there but unnoticed? And more provocatively, should we also start questioning the idea of neurotypical? Is it possible that what we call "typical" is, in fact, just another variation on the spectrum?

These are the conversations we want to bring to the table. We want to invite a sense of curiosity and awareness around this topic, not just for the sake of knowledge but to foster a deeper sense of connection. Because at the heart of this exploration is the need for belonging—something we all crave, whether neurodiverse or neurotypical.

As a professional, a neurodivergent individual, and a mother of a neurodiverse child, I bring to this newsletter a voice that is both deeply personal and informed by professional experience. It’s this blend of perspectives that I believe can enrich our discussions and bring a unique lens to our exploration of neuroplasticity and diversity.

This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to have you with us on this journey. Together, we’ll dive into tools, insights, and strategies that can help us all navigate a world that is evolving faster than we realize. But more importantly, we will build a community where everyone feels they belong.

See you soon—let’s keep the conversation going.

Warm regards,

Yes! Let's start this conversion. Schools are very slowly adapting, some work environments as well. But there is yet a lot to explore! You may also want to connect with neurofied Beirem Ben Barrah,, they may have interesting ideas too.
