E-Invoicing In Singapore

E-Invoicing In Malaysia

Malaysia: Grace period announced for the e-invoicing mandate... but no postponement!

A few days before the deadline for the first wave, LHDN (Malaysian tax authority) announced a 6-month grace period. This does not mean there is a postponement of the mandatory go-live date, which remains as of 1 August 2024.

E-invoicing mandate timeline (reminder)

• August 2024 - acceptance: for all businesses
• August 2024 - issuance: for businesses with an annual turnover of at least 100M MYR (≃ EUR 20M),
• January 2025 - issuance: for businesses with an annual turnover of at least 25M MYR (≃ EUR 5M),
• July 2025 - issuance: for all businesses.

Esker is already live on MyInvois! Esker is part of the pilot phase and is already ready for the mandate. This allowed us to get better visibility on what was coming, and what was expected to be compliant with MyInvois (local platform).
