World Illustration Awards 2024 Longlist

Congratulations to all the artists who have been Longlisted in the World Illustration Awards! The Longlist of 500 projects has been selected from over 5,000 entries by a team of 30 judges. 

Directory of Illustration artists made an impressive showing in the WIA Longlist this year, with over 40 artists being selected! Representing nearly every category in the competition, the DI Longlisted artists span editorial, exploration, science & technology and more. In a special series of articles, we will be featuring these artists and their Longlisted projects by category.

New to the Directory of Illustration is Travis Foster , a wonderful illustrator specializing in advertising, publishing, and editorial illustrations. He graduated with a degree in illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design and currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee.

In addition to illustration, he enjoys writing children’s books and working as an agent, representing other illustrators. Travis loves creating editorial work for magazines.
