9. Develop Paginated Report using Power BI Report Builder - Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Tips and Tricks (inogic.com)
Here are the top five Power BI report design mistakes you should avoid. #powerbi
1. Overloading visuals with data: One of the most common mistakes in report design is overloading visuals with too much data. This can make your report difficult to read and understand, and it can also slow down performance. To avoid this, you should focus on presenting only the most important data and use filters to allow users to explore more detailed information if needed.
2. Ignoring the user experience: Your report should be designed with the user in mind. Consider who will be using the report, how they will be using it, and what they need to get out of it. Design the report to be intuitive and easy to navigate, with clear labeling and logical grouping of information.
3. Not using visuals effectively: Power BI offers a wide range of visual options, but it's important to choose the right one for the data you're presenting. Avoid using too many different types of visuals in a report, and make sure the visuals you choose are appropriate for the data being displayed.
4. Failing to format visuals consistently: Consistent formatting
5. Ignoring data quality issues: Poor data quality can lead to inaccurate insights and incorrect conclusions. It's important to identify and resolve any data quality issues before creating a report. This includes removing duplicates, fixing errors, and ensuring that data is properly formatted and labeled.

8. Power BI Notable Links - Certification Info
Updated monthly, here’s the best place to go for Microsoft certifications. www.aka.ms/TrainCertPoster. From here, you can click through directly to Microsoft Learn and everything you wanted to know about certifications is listed here. On the poster itself, you can click on individual role-based certs to go directly to the certification page.
There are lots of ways to prepare for a Microsoft certification and one way that is VERY COMMON and RECOMMENDED is to go through all the Microsoft Learn content on the certification page. Regardless of your skill level, you absolutely need to master the content there so if you are already well versed in Power BI, you can probably rapidly review. If you are new, this is the place to start! #powerbi
9. Power BI Notable Links - Books
Spending only 30 minutes a day learning a single concept, formula, or method is equivalent to 182.5 hours/year. How much can you learn in 182 hours? What if you went all in and turned off the TV and spent 4 hours/day? That’s 1,460 hours/year!!! Adults learn by doing and many of these books come with complete downloads of example content that is directly covered in the book, so you are not just reading the book and looking at figures and images, you are in Power BI at the same time reviewing the examples and content printed in the book. In addition, the frequency of daily small lessons (or big gulps hahaha) significantly increases your retention factor. None of these links are affiliate or advertisements. I own many of these in my private library and they are highly recommended. #powerbi
