June is Cataract Awareness Month!

Help Us Spread the Word About Cataract Awareness Month!

The ASCRS Foundation is at the forefront of the fight against cataract-induced blindness through Operation Sight. Operation Sight provides free cataract surgery to those in need, ensuring that everyone has access to life-changing eye care. Since its inception, Operation Sight has transformed countless lives by restoring vision and hope.

Help us spread the word about the ASCRS Foundation by following us on social media and promoting our Cataract Awareness Month posts. Together, we can make a significant impact and reduce the prevalence of preventable blindness.

Boogie for a Cause: Party for a Purpose Afterparty

In honor of the ASCRS's 50th anniversary, we are thrilled to announce the Party for a Purpose Afterparty. Several practices across the country are getting into the groove, donning their best 70’s attire, and helping us raise awareness and donations in support of Cataract Awareness Month. Join in the fun by donating to your favorite team and propelling them to victory. Your contributions directly support our mission to increase access to care and provide resources for the next generation of ophthalmologist.

Be sure to follow us on Facebook or LinkedIn to learn more about the participating practices and what you can do to propel your favorite team to victory!

Welcome Laura Rousseau: Our New Development Director

We are excited to introduce Laura Rousseau as the newest member of the ASCRS Foundation team. Laura joins us as our new Development Director, bringing over 15 years of experience in the ophthalmic industry.
