Kamala the Chamel

Vice President Kamala Harris is shameless, has no principles, changes policies, she prevaricates and steals Trump’s ideas. She has abandoned her previous stances on key issues and now wants to act like a moderate. In short, Harris has more positions than the Kama Sutra.

These are some of the major issues on which she has reversed or walked back her views.

Fracking

In her first presidential bid in 2019 she said that she would ban fracking if elected. "There's no question I'm in favor of banning fracking, I have a history of working on this issue," Harris said in 2020.

In 2024, Harris' campaign says the vice president "does not support a total ban on fracking."

Medicare for All

Harris proposed "Medicare for All" during her 2019 presidential run, and wrote  "end these senseless attacks on Obamacare" and that she believes "health care should be a right, not a privilege. It’s why we need "Medicare for All."

"The idea is that everyone gets access to medical care. And you don’t have to go through the process of going through an insurance company, having them give you approval, going through the paperwork all of the delay that may require. Let’s eliminate that," Harris wrote.

Moreover, then-Sen. Harris cosponsored Sen. Bernie Sanders, Medicare for All Act of 2019. Despite her past support, a campaign official told Fox News that Harris will not push the subject of "Medicare-for-All" this cycle.

Anti-Assault Rifle

Harris endorsed a mandatory buyback program for assault rifles during her first presidential campaign. "We have to have a buyback program, and I support a mandatory gun buyback program," Harris said at MSNBC's Gun Safety Forum in October 2019. "It’s got to be smart, we got to do it the right way. But there are 5 million at least, some estimate as many as 10 million, and we’re going to have smart public policy that’s about taking those off the streets but doing it the right way."

A Harris spokesperson now says that she would not push a mandatory buyback program for assault rifles that she once supported.

No Taxes on Tips

This is one of her most despicable reversals. She just stole if from Donald Trump, who got cheers for it earlier this summer. But under the current Biden-Harris Internal Revenue Service rules, taxpayers must report all tip money as income on their tax returns. Harris has supported measures that allowed the IRS to track and tax workers' tips and even cast a tie-breaking vote in 2022 to pass legislation that increased IRS funding for this exact purpose.

But now, Harris recently said that she supports ending taxes on tips for service worker employees. It appealed in  Nevada to a key constituency of working class, largely immigrant service and hospitality employees. Harris wants to take advantage of the fact that most people know little about her to unapologetically change some of her more liberal positions.

Decriminalizing border crossing

Five years ago, Harris called for decriminalizing border crossings and reconfiguring U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Now she calls for "strong border security and an earned pathway to citizenship."

The Green New Deal

In her 2019 debate she said she supported the Green New Deal. She said, “We must have and adopt a Green New Deal. On day one as president." She hasn’t yet denied her support.

Can we trust anything this woman says? And what will she really do if she’s elected? I doubt that even she doesn’t really know.
