The key regulatory & compliance impacts changing General Insurance in 2025

Join me for my webinar on Thursday 12th December as I explore the key regulatory and compliance impacts that will change the way we work in 2025 and beyond.

Already we are seeing changes to the relationships between general insurers and their underwriting agencies and TPAs as CPS 230 (July 2025) draws closer. APRA has certainly expressed some concerns that insurers can't delegate accountability when outsourcing underwriting and claim activities.

Combined, the independent GI Code Review and the Parliamentary Flood inquiry Report has made 187 recommendations. These recommendations are currently being considered by the ICA and members, with the potential for significant changes to the GI Code of Practice.

ASIC continues to have heightened scrutiny of general insurance focusing on IDR and claims handling and ensuring that the industry keeps its pricing promises.

Broker commissions continues to be a hot topic with recent criticism of the industry following the strata investigation by 4 corners.

Add to this Privacy & Cyber security changes and the potential implementation of the Quality of Advice recommendations and you will readily see that 2025 is shaping up as a volatile period in the regulatory and compliance space.

The Webinar has been designed specifically to meet the needs of Insurers, Underwriting Agencies, TPAs, Material Service providers, Distributors, Insurance Brokers and anyone working in the General Insurance industry.

Secure your tickets and join me on Thursday 12th December from 12pm - 1.30pm (EADT).
