KEYS TO SUCCESS, COMMENTING ON SIR RISCARD BRANSON'S ARTICLE

Dear Richard,

there are many keys needed to open the doors to success

There is no automatism! To a lesser extent the intervention of luck-casualty, the realm of the imponderable, is possible.

The indispensable timing can be perceived only after having gained knowledge of the market, obtained by assimilation of all the elements that compose it; it becomes the resolution of a system with many unknowns that become combined relationships, rationally put together; in this function, the preconditions that make you recognize the right time come into play.

1) context in which you live and develop your activity. to receive the useful cues to put together the elements, already given in nature, waiting to be joined in useful relationship, Where you live and work you can find the conditions of particular effervescence and help from the institutions; different is to reside in Silicon Valley, London or Milan (to understand Italy, or in a remote village in the mountains; it will be said that, with the achievements of technology, communication and research have no boundaries, but the stimuli are different, you perceive them only by presence.

2) Spirit of observation and constructive curiosity. They are the initial equipment provided by Mother Nature; each of us is different from the other. You can load a robot with as much data as you want, simplifying calculations and functions, until you reach an almost artificial intuition, but with regard to thought, feelings and consciousness there is only man, his learning and constant training: if you lose some technological step, you will struggle to catch up, as in mathematics.

3) Initial cultural endowment, is the basis for understanding interests, insertions and reactions, the world around us. to measure the temperature of a need, a utility, process of improvement and the way to follow for its realization.

4) Economic availability, essential to be able to devote yourself to the conception and development of your idea or path to success: prototyping, granting exclusive rights, consulting.

5) Experiences and continuous applications.

6) Consolidation of success, it is important to overcome the dizziness that can cause, as has been found to occur in the second generation of industrial dynasties, reared in the comfort, unable to feel the changes necessary to avoid obsolescence, product or process, the current greater risk.

7) Good dose of optimism: the pessimist leaves the glass half empty.

8) Acceptable/weighted risk.

9) Choice of collaborators and consultants.

Up to this point, the character and material endowments of the individual, in order to aim for entrepreneurial or professional success.

The success of the manager, however, relies on other skills: leadership, ability to synthesize and communicate clearly, acting as an intermediary between the executive and decision-making part of the company, up to the top, with the decisions to be summarized on their own.
