By that we mean you have to devote time to research, understand what model you will invest in will you flip your houses ? Will you buy to rent ? what are the up and coming areas ? What do customers want ?

Most real estate investing isn’t passive. Unless you are a private lender most investing takes real work. Even a landlord using a property manager has work at the outset and should continue to remain active in oversight.

This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It takes time to build credibility, partnerships and associations. A well-grounded business is built over time unlike “overnight sensations.” It will take you 3 to 5 years to become a real success in this field.
