Spotlight on Life Sciences Industry 2025

We recently had the opportunity to speak with our Associate Director of Life Science and Healthcare, Michael Chu, as he shared his predictions for the year ahead. Michael noted, "The Life Science sector is experiencing significant growth in both Singapore and Malaysia."

One key trend for 2025 is the continued prevalence of hybrid working, though a shift toward return-to-office (RTO) is gaining momentum. Michael expects that 90% of organisations will have RTO policies in place.

Regarding recruitment, Michael emphasised that contract hiring will become increasingly important in the Life Science and Healthcare industries. Currently, permanent hires in Asia outnumber contract hires by a ratio of 9:1, but this gap is expected to narrow in the coming years.
