Hyaluronic acid is an acidic mucopolysaccharide, which was first isolated from the vitreous body of bovine eye by Professor Meyer of Columbia University in 1934. It is widely found in the skin and other tissues and has excellent moisturizing effect, which is internationally known as an ideal natural moisturizing factor. It is also the best moisturizing substance found in nature that can be used in cosmetics.
