Kudos magic inspires the Hammers
West Ham United have now won back-to-back games since December in the Premier League. A commanding 3-1 performance at Goodison Park brings back the feel-good factor in the West Ham camp.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Kudus has now made 9 goal contributions in 21 English Premier League games since joining from Ajax Amsterdam over the summer. The Hammers's recent upturn of performances takes them closer to another qualification to Europe at the end of the season.
The Curse of the City Grounds has been broken
A tight encounter after 90 minutes had realistic title hopes diminishing for the Reds. Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola were licking their lips thinking the current leaders were about to drop valuable points at home. Little did they know, that Klopp’s knights never throw in the towel till the referee blows the whistle for the end of the game.
A precious goal from substitute, Darwin Nunez, scored in added time gifted Liverpool with a win on a hostile territory. This was the latest league goal scored by a Liverpool player. In his fairytale ending season, the Reds march on with a valuable victory. Up next, is a crucial title decider at Anfield against the defending champions.

Three is a charm for Aston Villa
Aston Villa recorded their third win in a row in the league with a 3-2 victory over Luton Town. A team filled with a lot of goals in them is led by Ollie Watkins, who can’t stop scoring. Currently on 15 goals so far in the league, and is just behind Erling Haaland on the top goal-scorer chart.
With consistent performances each week in the league, it will not be long till a big move comes calling for the striker. He has booked his seat in the English team heading to Euro 2024 this summer. Supporting casts, Leon Bailey, Moussa Diaby, and Douglas Luiz contributed to the attacking flexibility of this side from Midlands. The team led by Spanish coach, Unai Emery, will fancy their chances at finishing in the Top 4 for the first time since the 1992-92 season.
Phil- Wonder shines for the Cityzens
On his 100th start in the league for his boyhood club, Phil Foden demonstrated a 600th goal scored by Manchester City at home under the bald genius coach, Pep Guardiola. The defending champions went a goal behind in the first half of the derby. But in a game of two halves, City demonstrated great character and a cup full of patience, to triumph on the day after 90 minutes.
Two goals in the second half from Guardiola’s go-to man, Phil Foden, records a 6th win in seven derby games in the past few games and keeps the defending champions a point behind league leaders Liverpool. In the perfect end to this derby, evergreen Erling Haaland scored his 18th goal in the league on the stroke of a minute of added time. A perfect response for City, extending their unbeaten run at home to 36 matches. The multi-dollar question is, Can the Cityzens set a new landmark and win the EPL trophy four times in a row?
