The Knowledge Management Foundation is a nonprofit organization. It operates completely independently from any public or private entity, whether it be an agency or a company. It was established out of the need to promote and energize knowledge management by disseminating the best existing techniques, methods, and practices among all individuals.
Among its activities, it stands out for organizing numerous initiatives to foster the creation and exchange of valuable ideas, always promoting a cultural change based primarily on the principles of collaboration, solidarity, and sustainability.
Its scope of action is very broad, encompassing schools, universities, entrepreneurship centers, companies, research organizations, senior centers, and, in general, anyone who wants to learn to improve their effectiveness.
The Foundation offers knowledge management courses in Europe and also in the United States. It has developed a new methodology called Effective Knowledge Management, which focuses on the administration and dissemination of all activities and techniques for practically managing knowledge. Its aim is to maximize existing knowledge and empower individuals who use it to make better decisions, increase their performance, and create ideas based on social values. These values revolve around collaboration, solidarity, and respect for the current environment and the people who coexist within it. La Fundación ofrece cursos de gestión del conocimiento en Europa y también en Estados Unidos. Ha desarrollado una metodología nueva denominada gestión eficaz del conocimiento que está enfocada en la administración y divulgación de todas las actividades y técnicas para gestionar de forma práctica el conocimiento.
