Last week we finished a ten-session course on Money Management for 10-11 aged students at DG Khetan International School. Teaching them has been such a blast as their curiosity made it easy for us to dive deeper into topics like Spending Planning and Budgeting, Making Regular SIP, Fake News and Digital Scams, etc. Since it was our last session with these young minds, we turned the learning into action with an exclusive game day.
Ever wondered who your child might aspire to be from the finance industry? We did, and the responses including names like Gautam Adani, Ratan Tata, Anand Mahindra, and Nirmala Sitharaman left us beaming with pride.
Next, we delved into a role-playing game where we made the kids break out into pairs to showcase their selling abilities. Every participant was asked to grab certain items from their homes and sell them to their partners. The idea was to identify whether or not the sale was genuine or a scam. Most of them were able to identify scams because of 'Digital scams and risks' session..
Not only were children able to identify certain scams, they also demonstrated excellent negotiating skills as well as quick thinking in learning from their misses and applying it in the next round. The session then progressed into several other role plays and an exciting rapid-fire quiz.

All in all, this last session with DG Khetan International School was super fun and just as these little enthusiasts are eagerly looking forward to the Level #2 of financial literacy with us, so do we.
