“Last Mile with a Smile”- Courier Logistics Standing Ground with Pandemic Challenges

Beyond the disease's spread and efforts to contain it, the COVID-19 pandemic has had radical, profound economic implications. This has raised serious concerns for the economic sectors and supply-side manufacturing creating an upsurge for demand and supply having a significant impact on global and national supply chains.

Naturally, the aftermath was a catastrophe. Businesses were obliged to re-evaluate their operations and accept growing trends to keep consumers delighted by receiving their orders on time and with ease to strengthen supply chain operations and get back on track.

Popularisation of Last-Mile Delivery Solutions

Generally stated, last-mile delivery refers to the movement of goods from the fulfilment center to the customer's door. Courier Services across the world and the nation opted for Last-mile Delivery solutions as one of their COVID coping business techniques.

Along with the Last-mile service came different and innovative key features such as kick-starting the digital assets available.

Smile Code Delivery

Tussling with the general pandemic guidelines, MyDTDC App is the latest offering from the house of DTDC. Experiencing the benefits of zero-contact delivery and making things easier for the customers, MyDTDC is the digitized version of the company itself. In other words, the most convenient way to send shipments across the world without stepping out of the comfort of one’s house.

Smile-Code Delivery is one of the key features of the app and yet another quick-witted name for Zero Contact Delivery. Transparency is what the customers desire. Ultimately, the app allows deepening the culture of ‘last mile with a smile’ across the organization.

Along with that, customers always want to know where their order is, when will it arrive, and all the details in between. Hence having complete knowledge of the whereabouts of the parcel and the order definitely is satisfactory for them. Since the technology is available, why not use it to the fullest for greater customer satisfaction?

Similarly,  technology being at our fingertips currently, along with the last mile services, allows logistics companies to make this aspect of the supply chain accessible to all parties involved, regardless of whether they're delivering small items, furniture, medical equipment, or even documents. A drive focusing on the customer as well as the nation’s welfare is everything we could ask for right now.

In 2022 and beyond, the industry is evolving and will continue to develop. To stay relevant, brands must stay on top of global supply chain trends as eCommerce grows in popularity and the number of deliveries increases.

DTDC India is one of the preferred courier brands in India with the largest network of delivery destinations across the globe.

DTDC Express Limited you provide the worst service. Your customer support team is also pathetic. I have been sending continuous email but no response. My shipment was booked on 23rd November 2024 from Bangalore and the destination delivery address was pune but the status shows delivered to Whitefield branch. I don't know where is my parcel and to whom you have delivered it.

7x100199778 this my package it supposed to be delivered on November 1st 2024 even after 15 days it's still in sorting office shimoga what's your people doing there, if take 15 to 20 days inside India then how can you manage your international deliveries, may be you need whole year to deliver if it's food or medical emergency forget it. Wherever I search for contact number and emails everything is wrong and mail I'd not exist. How pathetic you are celebrating in Instagram LinkedIn Twitter everywhere for this type of service. First make your customers happy then celebrate. Literally worst service and customer support also not good.
