December 20, 2024 – Los Angeles, CA – At Latina Professionals®, we are thrilled to announce that Diana Kleps has joined us as our new Managing Director. Diana’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for our organization as we continue our mission to empower Latina women in the workforce and beyond.
Diana brings an extraordinary wealth of experience in business development, strategic growth, and partnerships across sectors such as finance, technology, and sales. Her impressive career spans over 18 years, including leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies like Capital One, HSBC Bank USA N.A., and JP Morgan Chase. Her expertise in managing global portfolios and driving organizational expansion across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific regions has set her apart as a leader with a vision for growth and innovation.
"By championing the aspirations of Latinas, we are not merely responding to needs but are actively crafting bespoke pathways that empower their professional journeys as founders and leaders, catalyzing unparalleled growth across all sectors," Diana shared.
In her role as Managing Director, Diana will lead several groundbreaking initiatives to elevate Latina Professionals® to new heights. She will spearhead the development of new digital platforms powered by AI to enhance the member experience, roll out robust mentorship programs, and guide the expansion of our chapters both domestically and internationally. Her vision is clear: to ensure every Latina Professional feels supported, inspired, and equipped to achieve their goals.

Diana’s commitment to Latina Professionals® is rooted in her passion for advancing opportunities for Latinas everywhere. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication with a minor in Psychology, an Associate Degree in Film Editing and Production, and is currently pursuing further education in Industrial Organizational Psychology at Harvard Extension School. Her certifications in Project Management, Generative AI, and Commercial Lending further strengthen her capacity to lead and innovate.

Latina Professionals® has a proud history of building one of the largest network nationwide to date. Through mentorship, professional development, and networking, we have become a cornerstone for Latina leaders. With Diana’s guidance, we are excited to build on that legacy. She will also oversee the scaling of our highly successful National Conference, a signature event that brings thousands of Latinas together for inspiring keynotes, dynamic workshops, and meaningful connections.
Rafael and Kimberly Magaña founded Latina Professionals® with a shared vision to empower Latina women to excel in their careers, break barriers, and build meaningful connections. Recognizing the lack of resources and representation for Latinas in professional spaces, they created a platform where mentorship, leadership development, and community come together to inspire and uplift. Their mission is rooted in the belief that Latinas have the power to lead, innovate, and make lasting impacts across every industry. After initially facing a trademark refusal, they persevered and successfully secured the name, shaping the organization into what it is today.

Latina Professionals® has grown rapidly under the visionary leadership of Rafael and Kimberly Magaña. With 45 chapters slated to open in 2025 and our community expanding at an unprecedented pace, Diana will work closely with Rafael to ensure this growth remains both steady and impactful and more importantly that members feel heard and seen. Together, they aim to guide Latina Professionals® toward reaching an incredible milestone of one million members by 2026, solidifying the organization’s position as a transformative force for Latinas nationwide.
