Launching the Sole Practice Club
This week I am opening up the remaining spaces to sole practitioner accountants in the UK who want to join my online Sole Practice Club.
Launched in September 2022, my Sole Practice Club is an exclusive grouping of sole practitioner accountants who want to learn how others run their practices, understand how others address feelings of overwhelm and so much more.
Through monthly zoom calls as well as ongoing online group messaging and much more you will benefit from this quasi-mastermind style support facilitated by me, Mark Lee.
This is something I have been asked to set up many times – so I was delighted by the interest and feedback after the soft launch last month.
All members face similar challenges that are tiring to overcome.
You are always busy but it’s hard to find time to do the things that you hope will help you achieve the success you seek. And how do you really know what is worth you doing and what isn’t?
You are probably frustrated by the constant pressure to drink from the fire-hose of new materials and advice that are being pumped out at you day in and day out.
There are other styles and forms of mastermind groups and clubs for accountants. Most of them involve an investment of thousands of pounds – or at least hundreds of pounds monthly. And they may well be worth it. But that’s not my style.
So be ready to be surprised by the monthly subs you can pay to join and enjoy all the benefits of my Sole Practice Club.
NB: Membership fees increase after the next meeting.
Sole Practitioner?
You are eligible to join the Club if you are the sole decision maker for your accountancy firm. This means no active Partners or Directors. You may operate your firm alone or have anything up to a handful of staff, contractors or virtual support.
When?
Monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
Next meeting: Tuesday 11th October. Group 1 meets 8.30-10. Group 2 from 11-12.30
Members get access to a recording of their group's meeting - even if they are unable to attend, so no one misses out if something (even) more important crops up.

Agenda
Always chosen by members. This is NOT about me imposing my views on anyone. My role is to facilitate the discussion and ensure that everyone gets maximum value from the discussion and knowledge sharing around each group. (Of course I will also chip in and share my experiences and insights where I feel they will help)
Last month we discussed effective marketing for sole practitioners. Members heard what was working and what didn't work for fellow members. Anyone joining ahead of our next meeting will get access to a recording of our last meeting.
Members also chose the main discussion topic for next week's meeting: Pricing - especially re MTD for IT
Across the course of each year we will address all of the most common issues you face and that I have been advising, speaking and writing about for years. Plus any fresh issues that arise as a result of changes in the economic and competitive environment.
So you can be confident that you’ll get ideas, advice, insights and tips to help you run and build a more successful practice as a sole practitioner.
You’re likely to leave each meeting buzzing and excited about what you have learned. As a result you will achieve your objectives and resolve challenges faster and with more confidence than ever before. This will all give you real leverage to move your practice forwards.
Membership
Each group is capped at 20 members to ensure everyone can get max value.
No long term commitment. You can pay your subs monthly or annually.
Full money back guarantee.
All founder member places were snapped up ahead of September's meeting. Once the remaining places are taken I will set up a waiting list ahead of creating a third group.
You'll find details of specific membership benefits and extras, membership terms, subs and details of your money back guarantee.
To help avoid any misunderstandings I've also set out a list of reasons NOT to join the Club!
