Le Bistrot de l'Institut Francais

Le Bistrot is the result of a collaboration between Thalias Hospitality Group and l’Institut Français du Cambodge. Le Bistrot aims to bring a taste of authentic French cuisine to the heart of Phnom Penh, while fostering cultural exchange and providing a gathering place for not only French and other foreigners but also locals and students of the nearby Language Center.

Le Bistrot presents a concept that marries the charm of a French café with the convenience of a student-friendly eatery.

At the counter, come to indulge in a symphony of flavors, from freshly baked French breads and pastries to hearty student signature dishes like Fried Noodles and Lort Cha, all at wallet-friendly prices. We also bring lunch boxes at a single price of $1.5 for students and $2 as a standard price.

The restaurant features a whole new menu, offering everything from a rich breakfast spread to a dynamic à la carte selection. We also have daily menus that change regularly so that you can try out new flavours.

Evening diners can savor different experience like Steak café du Bistrot with freeflow french fries, or barbecue sausage and skewer, or even a mix cold-cut and cheese platter.

During weekends, Le Bistrot transforms into a space of relaxation, with an unlimited brunch buffet priced at $15 on Saturdays and Sundays. Additionally, every Sunday, “Le Barbecue du Dimanche” will take place in the garden, featuring a variety of grilled options such as hot dogs, beef or chicken skewers with mushrooms, zucchinis, etc.

Cultural events and catering Le Bistrot will support on-demand all the events of the French Institute with appetizers, hot and cold canapés, cold cuts and cheeses, cocktails, and beers, fresh juices.

Opening hours: From Monday to Saturday from 7:00am until 10:00pm, and Sunday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
