Leading Earth science highlighted in 2024 Distinguished Geoscience Australia Lecturer Series (DGALs)

We're presenting a taste of our innovative and world-leading Earth science in the 2024 Distinguished Geoscience Australia Lecturer Series (DGALs). These lectures are free to all and will be presented live at our headquarters in Canberra and streamed on Microsoft Teams.

Launching in May and running until September, we’re bringing you 5 exciting presentations that cover just a few examples of how we are applying Earth science for the benefit with all Australians. Our staff nominated these lecturers as a prestigious recognition of their major achievements and contributions to Earth science over the previous 12 months.

The most outstanding DGAL presentation will be recognised with the prestigious Sir Harold Raggatt Award at the conclusion of the series. We cannot wait for our presenters to share their expertise with you!
