Learning to become a better leader through Emotional Intelligence
A leader can learn to master EI through the elements of self-reflection and learning to be more comfortable with their thoughts. It's a timely practice and process that can indeed be taught. However, it is not that people are not engaging in the art of aligning EI and leadership development; rather, people today have such poor mental health that they seem unreachable for gains in Emotional Intelligence.
Nobody said that life was easy; however, since the creation of emotional re-learning, we can foster the truth in understanding who we are in life. I am learning more not through research but through lived daily reflections and alignment of self-awareness that I can truly master a unique leadership style that works for me.
There are too many social media posts that argue what a good or bad leader is, when in truth, I think it makes more sense to practice and learn notions of self-leadership. This equates to knowing who we are in life—which can take years, by the way. Thus, do not be quick to judge your leadership style or thoughts when you have your entire life to learn what kind of leader you're going to be. And even then, you never stop learning, as that's the beauty of life—to constantly learn more about our personal emotions as we get older.
You have to remember that our emotions change from one second to the next. This is okay, by the way; this is how we evolve into a more mature person.
You're going to experience ups and downs and receive bad calls. That's just life. Thus, in order to master true EI, we just need to learn more about how to relax. In doing so, we can automatically lower our stress and anxiety to somewhat manageable levels that contribute to living a more fruitful life.

In conclusion, we are indeed making the complication of leadership development more complicated by worrying about how to align emotional intelligence with everyday thinking. And the answer to this great riddle is that there is no answer. Just learn to wake up every single day, be grateful, and do your best. In this format of learning and life achievement, we get to know our true selves.

1yStephen Fahey - I thoroughly enjoyed this newsletter…basically I feel connected to your wonderful work majorly because it is based on life learning experiences rather than a fixed strategy. Leadership can be defined in multiple levels and each level can have its own precise definition. What I admire the most is “servant leadership” probably because I love smiling faces more than financial gains🤣🤣 Not that I do not like to earn money but if given a choice, I can embarrass people or rather put them in shock 😬🤣🤣 Each positive change makes me happy..life is all about experiences and imagine if all our experiences are spreading endless joy, life would be worth living each moment🤞You are doing a wonderful job and I’m sure this will take you to a beautiful journey without even realizing. Those who make others happy get the maximum reward. All the very best 👍
