Lemons 2 Lemonade Black-Owned Gift List
I support Black-owned businesses throughout the year through gifting. Whether it's a birthday present, an event gift bag, a celebration, or an appreciation gift, a Black-owned company has what you want. It's also one of the ways to gift people for getting a new job, promotion, home or moving to a new city. Other times I send thank yous to people and sponsors who have invested their time or money to Lemons 2 Lemonade presented by Brittney Oliver; I find a way to spend my dollars and amplify a Black-owned business.
I started doing this in 2018 by supporting curated box companies. Once those companies stopped production, I started curating my own with a new theme each year. The first year I featured items from my friends, Black women businesses in Nashville; the following year, I moved on to Howard alum, and after that, New York City Black-owned items. Below are a few businesses I like to support and gift, and I hope you will consider them in your gifting plans.
