Let Us Love One Another

Let Us Love One Another

"He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." - 1 John 4:8

The year 2020 was exhausting. 570,000 coronavirus deaths, riots, protests, systemic racism. Work life imbalance working remotely from home; parents becoming teachers, educating their children from computer screens. Missing family and friends so close but so far. No hugging, kissing even hand shaking, void of human touch because of this coronavirus.

Facing a triple pandemic health, the economy, historic unemployment. Stress, anxiety, has caused human error. We weathered these storms, by the grace of God we're still standing. What the world needs more than ever is LOVE sweet LOVE in 2021.

  • Love is patient, love is kind, love is understanding and it's always forgiving.
  • Love is trusting without doubt. It's unselfish and doing without.
  • Love is caring and sharing, it's sacrifice like Jesus Christ.

Do you love your neighbor as yourself? God uses us to help each other in times of need. He doesn't need our help yet he works through ordinary people like you and me.

Do you love your enemies? Sometimes for there are those who have crossed the line making it difficult to forgive. It's a dilemma many Christians find themselves in. Do what I did - PRAY. In time God will make a way. How can God forgive me if I can’t forgive others. It's just a reminder that forgiveness is for me it will set you free. It gives you peace of mind so you can finally sleep stress free.

Anger although justified can be debilitating. God provided the serenity I needed to forgive and not retaliate. Forgiving is not forgetting it's two different things. We must protect the heart at all costs against repeat offenders.

GOD - is - LOVE

"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." - Mark 12:30-31
