Let's not forget about Safety
With everything that has been going on over the last few months it has been easy to get distracted or sidetracked by the issues that COVID-19 has forced upon us all.
It’s important that you don’t neglect the health and safety of your people during these unusual times.
The last thing you want to have to deal with is an injury to a workmate or colleague and all of the complications that this will add to the already difficult changes that we have implemented to cope with this pandemic.
CNBSafe Safety Speakers is a business that shares the real impact of workplace injury or fatality.
Starting over 20 years ago James Wood began visiting workplaces and businesses sharing the story of how a serious workplace injury left him getting around using a wheelchair.
‘My accident was caused by some CHOICES I made, I share my story to try and make people think about the choices they make that could lead to them getting hurt while they are doing their job.’
James has been joined by 6 other workers that have all sustained a serious and permanent workplace injury.
'Your job as a business is to give your people the training and equipment they need to do their job safely…
Our job is to give them the REASON they need to stay safe.'
We visit workplaces all over Australia, from small family owned businesses to large construction projects, manufacturing, mine sites, council and more, we share our stories to show people the reality of getting hurt at work.
COVID-19 has thrown some challenges at CNBSafe, we can’t travel to some states.
However we have been delivering messages via Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams and other online means alongside face to face visits.
James also has his story in a fully self contained training package that you can run on your site by you or your safety/training people. CHOICES - The James Wood Story Video Safety Training Package.
Let’s ensure that 'Your business does not forget about safety' in these unusual times.
Arrange for a Safety Speaker to share their story with your people, either in person complying with current social distancing requirements or via a live online presentation with Q&A.
