REMINDER OF TWO POWERFUL WORDS!

🎗 I want to remind you that organizations don't always remember to thank their funders for the grant support they provide. We know you're busy, but showing your appreciation 💗 can go a long way. After all, gratitude not only reinforces relationships with current funders, but it could also open doors to new partnerships and opportunities! So remember: thanking more is the way to go! Take a moment today to show your appreciation for the support you have received. It will pay off in more ways than one. 

 😀 Here are 10 Creative Ways to Thank Funders for their Financial Grant Support:

1. Send a personal thank you note. Personal notes are especially effective when they come from the organization's executive or board members.

2. Host a reception in honor of the grant awardee. This is an excellent opportunity to verbally express your gratitude and introduce other partners or potential recipients of their financial support.

3. Invite funders to join you in personally delivering the award. This is a great way to show how much their contribution has impacted your organization and its clients or beneficiaries.

4. Publish a press release or article about the funder's donation. Acknowledging them publicly for their generosity will reinforce their commitment to your organization and show potential funders the great work you are doing.

5. Record and post a video of your executive or board members expressing their gratitude to the funder. This can also be shared through social media channels, increasing visibility among other potential funders who may see it and take notice of your organization's success.

6. Send a thank you letter with photos of how the money was used. This will provide tactile evidence to illustrate what their contribution made possible for your organization and its recipients.

7. Dedicate an event or program to honor the funder's donation. This could be anything from naming a scholarship after them to printing their name on tickets or program materials.

8. Ask the funder to present an award or certificate of recognition at your events. This offers them a chance to be publicly recognized for their support while showing other guests the type of partners you interact with regularly.

9. Give them special status on your website or social media pages. This could be something as simple as a special mention or badge for them, but it will show their contribution to your organization.

10. Invite funders to join you in collaboration on future projects and initiatives. This isn't only an opportunity to thank them again and take the relationship to the next level.

These are just a few ideas to get you started. No matter how you thank your funders, it's important to remember that your appreciation should be genuine and heartfelt 💝. Show your gratitude by taking the time to let them know how much their contribution means. They will appreciate it!
