Let’s try something DIFFERENT this International Women’s Day. 🌟
Hello, my friends,
Do you feel that?
The love and championing and excitement going on both on the internet and in the world today?
It’s International Women’s Day and, as a woman, it’s beyond inspiring to see, feel and absorb it all.
Amidst all this excitement, I want to offer the women reading this something a little different this year:
Let’s all take a big, collective SIGH together. Take a deep breath (right now, go for it) and let it. All. Out.
(Feels good, doesn’t it?)
This moment of peace is brought to you by all the women out there who are working just so freaking hard. We show up for our families, partners, friends and communities. We all pour from our own cups to lift others up. Which is beautiful and is, in a sense, what makes us women—our desire to and actions that serve others.
But we can’t forget about ourselves.
Now, I know I’m not alone in learning this lesson, which I’ve certainly learned the hard way in running multiple businesses.
I’ve over-given.
I’ve stretched myself thin.
I’ve poured from an empty cup which, ultimately, doesn’t serve anyone.
And I’ve paid for it.
So this International Women’s Day, and the entire month of March as we celebrate Women’s History, we will celebrate each other, of course. It is essential for women leaders to stand in their power. But as we lift up women around us and celebrate notable women in history, let’s not put ourselves last. Let’s put ourselves first and celebrate how far we’ve come and how much we do.
We deserve to reap the benefits of the hard work we put into the world. What is it all worth if we don’t take time to sit back, soak it in, and enjoy it?
Cheers to you, Creator.
Cheers to you, Leader.
Cheers to you, Trailblazer.
Cheers to you, Woman.
Today, and every day.
With Light,

Speaking of women of history… Marianne Williamson made history this weekend in Washington, D.C. by announcing her candidacy for President in 2024.
I’m fortunate to call Marianne a mentor, a friend, and a woman I deeply respect and admire. I was blessed to be in D.C. in person during her announcement this past weekend, and regardless of politics or who you vote for, you cannot deny the awe that it evokes in women when we see another woman stepping up and entering the arena. Not for her own personal gain, but for the greater world. She really is a steward of love in the world, so much so that she’s willing to risk so much to get us to a higher place as a society. Join me and Women’s Business League for a virtual Fireside Chat on March 29th!
I’m sitting down with the Co-Founders of WBL, Melissa Gilbo and Amy Poscik, to discuss not only my own personal branding journey and experience as an author, but also what it takes to build a truly authentic, unstoppable personal brand that will move the needle for your business.
I’m honored to be hosted by this incredible organization, especially during Women’s History Month! Learn more about the event and how you can get your ticket right here.
