Let's walk under the government of the holy spirit
We must first realize that the Holy Spirit is all-powerful works in different ways. The wind doesn't throw it where it pleases. You are the feast of its sound but you do not know where it will come from and where it will go. Even the Holy Spirit is like that (John 3:8). Yes, it's true we can't control the wind. We cannot change the speed of the wind, similarly we cannot change the direction of the wind.Same goes for the Holy Spirit. Yet, many believers today are contemplating to establish works of holiness by putting the Holy Spirit under their control and in their ways. When the second man of the trinity, the Lord Jesus Christ, was on earth, the Pharisees wanted to tie him up with their own little commandments and customs. But he refused to be confined in their narrow room. Many who are in service today as heirs of those Pharisees seek to keep the Holy Spirit under their control by the third person of the Trinity according to their customs and human knowledge.**But the Holy Spirit always refuses to walk according to the rules set by humans. Yes, he blows where he pleases. We hear the sound of His work but He is not according to the limitations we have imposed, as we are distracted. We should never expect Him to act in someone else's life the same way He did in our lives. We should not expect to do the same in our lives as we did in the past. Yes, he is the almighty. The best thing we can do is to turn our faces towards the wind and move towards the direction the wind takes us. ****PRAYER****Our Heavenly Father, The life we live on our own terms is a waste. We happily submit to the government of the Holy Spirit that dwells in us. In Jesus name we pray father, Amen. ****Author**Zac Poonen
