A letter to my future Self

A letter to my future Self

Dear Future Me,

As I sit down to write this in 2024, I’m filled with both gratitude and curiosity for the journey ahead. This year, I’ve embraced my identity as a Collaboration Architect with renewed purpose. It’s a role that feels deeply aligned with who I am—a designer of dialogue, a connector of people, and a builder of systems that create meaningful impact.

Whom I See Myself As: I see myself not just as a professional facilitator but as a curator of collaboration—a guide who shapes spaces where innovation and trust flourish. Personally, I’m a family man, a dreamer, and someone who strives to create harmony between professional ambition and personal joy.

A Challenge I Want to Overcome in 2025: Looking ahead to 2025, I want to master the art of balance. The challenge is clear: finding the sweet spot where my work as a Collaboration Architect continues to grow without compromising the relationships and moments that matter most—whether with my family, my community, or myself.

My 2025 Professional Aspirations: I aspire to expand the reach of the platforms I’ve built, particularly My Meeting Support and Debate Exímio Lda. I envision fostering a global network of professionals and partners who share my vision for collaboration and impactful dialogue. I hope to inspire others through thought leadership—perhaps writing a new book or speaking at events that matter—and to see the Roundtable Principles evolve into a universal framework for change-makers worldwide.

My 2025 Personal Aspirations: On a personal level, I want to be more present. I aim to dedicate intentional time to my family, explore new hobbies, and reconnect with what grounds me—whether that’s through nature, travel, or simply quiet moments of reflection.

My Big Wish for Future Me: My wish for you, future self, is that you continue to be guided by purpose, curiosity, and kindness. I hope you have the courage to take risks, the wisdom to learn from setbacks, and the humility to celebrate the small wins. Most of all, I wish you peace—a sense of fulfilment that comes not just from what you’ve accomplished, but from who you’ve become.

As I write this, I’m filled with hope for the path ahead. I know it won’t always be easy, but I trust in your ability to navigate it with the same resilience and passion that brought us here.

Here’s to building, creating, and dreaming—one step at a time.

With gratitude, Your 2024 Self
