LGMG launches telehandlers in Europe: Seasoned professionals join the team
LGMG Europe, a subsidiary of Lingong Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd (LGMG), a prominent Chinese construction equipment manufacturer, decided to bring its telehandler range to the European market this year. The company gave the first introduction to its telehandler range for the European market at INTERMAT 2024 in Paris this April, where they showcased the impressive H1840, currently the biggest telehandler in their catalogue. It has also been introduced to North America and Australia, attracting wide attention.
To support this new development and expansion in their product range, LGMG Europe has recently appointed two new team members to join the company’s telehandler team. With this expansion of the team, LGMG commits to bringing direct sales service as well as technical support for its telehandlers in Europe.
New sales director
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Carlo Forini has been appointed as the Western European Sales Director for Telehandlers. Carlo's extensive career includes nearly 20 years at Terex Corporation, where he held various leadership roles in both Italy and the USA.
"I’m excited to join LGMG because their vision for the telehandler market perfectly aligns with their longstanding commitment to providing the rental industry with durable, reliable products that maximize customer ROI," says Carlo.
Leveraging Carlo’s extensive background and network, LGMG anticipates a successful launch of its telehandlers in the European market.
Localized technical support
Gaetano Gallo has joined LGMG Europe as a Service Manager for Telehandlers. Gaetano brings LGMG a vast amount of great experience with AWPs and especially telehandlers. Prior to joining LGMG, Gaetano worked 9 years as a Service Manager at Skyjack, and over a decade at JLG Manufacturing in various roles.
“I am excited to join LGMG and leverage my years of experience partnering with customers across Europe to ensure their voices are heard and their satisfaction is prioritized. I believe my expertise will make a significant difference in strengthening customer relationships and driving growth in the coming years,” says Gaetano.
With Gaetano’s extensive knowledge, LGMG will be able to provide high-quality, fast, and localized service and technical support.

A versatile line of telehandlers that suit various needs
LGMG’s telehandlers range from a 6-meter lifting height to an impressive 17.6-meter lifting height. Currently, the company has 6 models available, with more on its way.
"LGMG has a versatile line of telehandlers: compact, high-reach, and rotating — to meet rental companies' needs with efficiency. Designed for durability, LGMG’s machines feature robust structures and high-quality European components, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability”, comments Carlo about LGMG’s telehandlers.
The current biggest model of LGMG’s telehandler range, H1840, will be showcased at the upcoming exhibitions that LGMG is attending this fall. You can experience the H1840 at LGMG’s stands at Platformers' Days , Vertikal Days , and JDL EXPO .
