During this month, I lost my beloved mother due to cancer. She was the first super woman in action whom I have seen from my childhood. I honestly regretted that I could have been closer to her after the death of my father four months back.

More I reflect on the experiences with her, I started to learn more lessons in life. Hence, I felt the gravity of motherhood as I am also a mother of two kids. In short, I moved forward with more awareness, acceptance of the reality and preparing myself to learn more from my loved ones.

Regrets should not control your life till you die. You need to have control and discipline of your life without blaming other parties. Once you take the ownership of your life, you become equipped with self-awareness.

Always have a quiet time for yourself as me-time. During this time, you need to think for yourself, prioritize what you need to do to increase the life worth. I normally forgive myself and others. So that I can let go of the past and move on with positive thoughts.

Once you practice gratitude, you can lessen the feelings of regret. Then you will be thankful to the things that you already have.

Living the present day consciously is another way that I use to stop regrets in life. Because you cannot change the past or predict the future.

Find your purpose in life is the next point. Once you do what you love continuously, the real purpose can be found. The satisfaction of life is deeply associated with your specific purpose.

Finally, you need to be prepared both physically and mentally to face the uncertainty of life.

Life is too short to waste the time in doing things that will not make you happy.

Dear readers, you can use the above mentioned strategies and many more to have a worry-free life.

All of us wanted a life without regrets. Most important thing is that first and foremost you need to love yourself and take care of it. Your inner peace with yourself is a vital aspect during the existence of the Earth. I hope you can remember my mantra in life which I mentioned in a previous article (“Everything is going to be alright!”).
