A Lifeline for Consultants During Times of Uncertainty

We’ve heard a lot of talk in recent months about an impending recession, cutbacks in spending, and a decline in the economy. We’ve seen evidence in the form of budget cuts, layoffs (particularly in tech companies), and higher interest rates. But despite the current climate of uncertainty, consultants have every reason to remain hopeful for the future.

In our 16 years of business, we’ve seen three major periods of economic volatility. In each of these periods, we’ve observed how our major tech clients adjust spending in different areas and allocate more to consulting, even in the midst of layoffs and shrinking budgets.

The work must go on, and with executives having made promises to stakeholders, the quickest and most effective solution is to turn to experienced consultants who can deliver. A key part of our strategy in these times has been securing renewals for consultants. And throughout these periods, our business grew.

We are in ‘renewal season’, the time of year where our Account Directors are in close collaboration with clients discussing needs for the coming fiscal year. They, with our company leaders have been quietly preparing for this period of uncertainty with the same resiliency strategies we’ve been successful using in the past. Take comfort knowing we’re prepared for whatever comes next.
